PYO & Posy Making

Our first workshop will be Children’s PYO & Posy Making on the 4th August and our second day of sessions is the 25th August.
During this 1-1.5 hour session, children (accompanied by an adult) will be guided around the flower field, learning how to pick flowers and foliage suitable for arranging. They’ll then use the flowers they’ve chosen to create their very own hand-tied posy to take home.
The sessions will be led by Katrina, a qualified primary school teacher, and will include games and activities throughout to make the experience fun, engaging, and memorable.
We suggest a minimum age of 4 years old for children actively participating in the workshop, although younger children are very welcome to attend with their families.
To ensure everyone receives plenty of support and attention, numbers will be limited.
Important information:
- All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- One accompanying adult is included in the workshop price.
- Additional adults are welcome and will be charged our standard admission fee of £5 per person.
- Every child will take home their own hand-tied posy made from flowers they have picked themselves
- We can keep flowers safe and cool in water after the session if you’d like to stay and enjoy the meadow trails, orchard walks, and garden games, all of which are included as part of the workshop experience.
A lovely opportunity for children to spend time outdoors, learn about flowers, get creative, and enjoy a summer morning in the field.

Leave the rush behind and join us for a relaxed summer evening in the flower field. Wander through the blooms, fill your bucket with your favourite flowers, then settle in with friends for a picnic as the sun begins to set.
Your ticket includes:
- Entry to the flower field
- Pick Your Own flowers to fill a bucket
- One complimentary Pimms or soft drink
- Bring your own picnic and additional drinks
- Exclusive evening access to the field from 6:00 – 9:00pm
Places are limited to keep the evening relaxed and enjoyable, so pre-booking is recommended.
